FAQ's

DO I HAVE TO PAY IN FULL TO RESERVE? Rentals occurring within 3 months must be paid in full at time of reservation. If your rental is more than 3 months away, we require a 50% deposit to reserve the item(s) with the remaining 50% due 3 months prior to the rental.

 

HOW SOON CAN I PICK IT UP? Your rented items will be available for pickup or delivery on the first day of your rental period. Please note, we are closed for pickup/delivery on weekends. The following exceptions will be made:

- If your rental period is Friday to Sunday, delivery/drop-off will be scheduled for Monday at no extra charge.

- If your rental period is Saturday to Monday, delivery/pickup will be scheduled for Friday at no extra charge.

 

WHAT YOU NEED? We require a valid credit card under the renters name. If the renter is using someone else's credit card, that person must be present upon delivery. The renter needs to also be present upon delivery, so that we can go over the inspection checklist and sign the rental agreement. You must also be present upon return of the equipment, so we can go over the return inspection.

 

PAYMENT METHODS? We accept all major credit cards. No cash or personal cheques please. E-transfers may be accepted, but must be received prior to rental delivery. All payments have to received prior to delivery. We understand accidents happen, so all incidentals will be charged upon completion of the delivery checklist. 

 

DAMAGE WAIVER? Our damage waiver covers accidental damage to our item as long as you can return it to us. You will never owe more than 15% of the replacement cost of the damaged item, no matter how expensive the repair actually is.

Sadly, some types of damage aren't covered by our Damage Insurance. A few of those instances are:

  • Damage due to neglect, abuse or misuse
  • Damage arising from reckless or grossly negligent use of the equipment
  • Damage caused by abnormal or abusive use of the equipment
  • Theft or Loss of Equipment

  

PICK UP? Pick up of your rental items is a free option we offer as an alternative to our paid delivery service. Pick up times are based on a first come, first served basis, so please contact us as soon as possible to schedule your pick up. To reduce unnecessary damage to our products, customers are required to take all reasonable precautions to ensure proper transportation. We recommend an enclosed trailer and blankets to be placed between items. Please note: Tent rentals are not available for pick up. For liability reasons, tent rentals must be delivered, set-up, and disassembled by Event Rentals Kamloops. 

 

DELIVERY & PICK UP SERVICE? Delivery & Pick up is available for a fee anywhere in Kamloops and the surrounding area. Contact us for a quote.  

 

RESERVATIONS? We ask for 24 hours advance notice for all reservations. That being said, sometime you need it now! Give us a call to arrange last minute bookings.
